The clients wanted a satellite patio but also needed some colourful herbaceous planting to soften two large areas of paving. A path was needed to the satellite patio and to the larger garden beyond.
A typical rectangular garden which needed a design to make it appear larger and more square. The river at the bottom of the garden was prone to occasional flooding.
This was a 5m wide by 7m long front garden designed to have a contemporary feel and with winter interest planting. The garden needed to be practical and sustainable.
